Today we're launching child accounts which are a new feature for Agencies and our Enterprise account customers which allow you to create and manage child accounts, each of which has it's own separate store locator so customers can use them independently to find store locations.
One of the cool new features that we've added is the ability for you to enable location data from the child accounts to be automatically copied up to the master account store locator. A typical use case for this might be that you can give different regions independent access to manage location data for their region via their own child account, and the master locator then automatically incorporates the regional location data into a single global or country wide view.
Child accounts are also super useful for breaking down a locator into separate product listings. You can have a child account per product and then have an independent locator per product and also a master view containing all the locations. Of course, you also have the ability to create product locator views using Filters but this adds additional flexibility especially where you have a large number of product listings or you want to maintain separate vendor lists for some reason.
As always, if you have any questions about this new feature just ask!
